The City of Norfolk is looking for extraordinary people who exceed expectations in combating crime and the causes of crime in Norfolk, especially “unsung heroes” who deserve recognition. The 21^st Annual Norfolk Crime Prevention Awards will be presented Monday evening October 28^th at 6:30 pm.

 The deadline to nominate an individual or group for an award has been extended to September 18.

GIDEON…male black cat with red color and tag (address on tag is Gloucester, VA). Last seen June 29th in Carl Street area of Suburban Acres.

Monday Night July 8th our monthly civic league meeting features Superward 6 Councilman Barclay Winn.  Doors open at 6 pm; meeting starts at 6:30.  We will be meeting at the new Fine Arts Center at Norfolk Collegiate School this month…see you there!
