June 2019 General Meeting Minutes

The minutes from the June 2019 SACL General Meeting have been finalized and can be viewed at the Meeting Minutes area of our website.

The June Meeting was a great event.  Mayor Kenny Alexander and School Board Chair Noelle Gabriel spoke to the membership and both hung around after to answer questions and interact with members.  There was a palpable energy at this meeting with many topics covered.  Both Ms. Gabriel and Mayor Alexander spoke about tackling big issues and how the city is working through challenges.  See the meeting minutes for a full breakdown of topics discussed.

Please come out for our next meeting on July 8, 2019 at Norfolk Collegiate where the guest speakers will be Greg Bockheim from the Norfolk Zoo as well as Norfolk Fire Chief, Michael Brooks.
