It was an excellent meeting with lively discussion between speakers and members.  Highlights included plans revealed for work to be done on sewer/water drainage on Yorktown drive and ditch maintenance along the railroad tracks from Little Creek to Thole.  Please review the minutes for more detailed notes.

City Councilwoman Andria McLellan also spoke to the membership and answered questions about infrastructure projects, multi-modal lanes, and the regional fiber internet ring project.  Please review the minutes for more detailed notes.

Suburban Acres Civic League Meeting, Monday, September 9, 2019

Speakers:     Andria McClellan, Norfolk City Council, Super Ward 6

Representatives of Norfolk Departments of Utilities and Public Works will give reports on sewer, stormwater, and water line projects around Yorktown Drive and Wards Corner.  We especially invite residents of the Yorktown Drive/Louisiana Drive streets to attend for important information about fixing the sewer problem.

When:           6:30 pm, Monday, September 9, 2019

Doors open at 6:00 pm for refreshments and socializing.

Where:         Suburban Park Elementary School, 310 Thole Street
