Course Monitors needed Saturday June 9th
Eggleston Services, a non-profit organization that employs disabled community members in various positions throughout Hampton Roads is hosting their annual OK-5K race this Saturday June 9th. Eggleston still needs a couple of Course Monitors to help in directing runners along the course at Virginia Wesleyan College.
A 1 mile run starts at 8 am, and the 5K a little later. Plan on about 2 hours. Volunteer course monitors get a cool embroidered OK-5K golf shirt.
Eggleston is a super supp
orter of Suburban Acres Civic League, and a great organization that provides productive work, training, and social opportunities for mentally challenged adults in our community.

Missen a kitten?
Where’s my owner?
We found this adorable cat that kept meowing to be let into our house. He’s too friendly to be feral and I looked at his claws today and they appear to have been clipped some time back. I’d love to keep him, but I’m sure some little girl misses her kitten!
