Here’s the first issue of The Suburban, newsletter of the Suburban Acres Civic League, for 2012.

A special THANK YOU to the Norfolk Christian High School Ambassadors Jazz Ensemble and director Doug Earlenbaugh for the great entertainment at our Christmas party in December.

Our January meeting is Monday evening January 14th; doors open with refreshments at 6 pm and the meeting starts at 6:30.

Our guest speaker is Chief Deputy Commonwealths Attorney Brent Johnson (rescheduled from earlier this year).   Brent will speak about programs and work done by the Commonwealths Attorney’s Office, and the new satellite office/community collaberation center that opened in November at the Workforce Development Center at Wards Corner.  Join us!
