Greater Wards Corner Task Force – needs YOU

Neighbors interested in participating in planning for the future development of our corner of Norfolk alongside City Council, etc. are invited to attend the Greater Wards Corner Task Force meeting. 

Suburban Acres is in need of representation.  If you have the time and interest, please attend (details below) and please provide the SACL Executive Committee with a status brief so that we can stay plugged in.  Contact Tim Fox if you have any questions.  Suburban Acres NEEDs your involvement!

Adopt – A – Spot, Thole Street Median Cleanup

You can help keep Suburban Acres a beautiful neighborhood!

Together, neighbors will  tidy up the two Thole Street medians in front of Tinee Giant and Suburban Park Elementary — and with enough help, the work with be minimal!

The task:  Weeding the medians and picking up litter

SACL Meeting – Tonight!

Join us tonight (12 September) for the September Suburban Acres Civic League meeting.

On the Agenda:

  • Meet Delegate Lynwood Lewis (replacing Kenny Alexander as our delegate)

Kenny Alexander and Paula Miller will be in attendance.

  • Meet Mrs. Brenda Shepherd (new principal of Suburban Park Elementary)
  • Learn some interesting facts behind the dollar bill — presentation from our own Mr. Raber.
