Here’s the December 2013 edition of The Suburban for your reading pleasure!
Please join us for our HOLIDAY MEETING Monday evening December 9th. Doors open with refreshments and music from harpist Rebekah Robinson at 6 pm; our year end overview starts at 6:30, then entertainment from the Norfolk Christian High School Ambassadors Jazz Band, back by popular demand.
As usual the refreshments are a little more ‘robust’ at our December meeting! Bring a side dish (veggie tray, etc.) to share if you can.
In this month’s The Suburban:
-Suburban Park Elementary Food Drive a Success
-Tinee Giant owner receives crime prevention award
-Neighborhood Watch update, Suburban Acres Green, Dr. Brad’s Wellness Column, and more!
Always pertinent during the holidays, as there are those who would take advantage of, or even harm us while most of us are in the “giving spirit” and have our guard down.
Click HERE to go to our Crime Prevention page for tips on burglary prevention while you are on vacation, and general holiday safety tips.
Thanks to the Norfolk Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit for these tips.
