The board of the Suburban Acres Civic League has made the difficult decision to cancel the community 4^th of July parade and picnic, as well as the June and July general league meetings.

This was a tough but necessary decision to ensure our community’s safety.  The Suburban Acres annual July 4^th event is always a fun outing where we celebrate the founding of our country with neighbors and our elected officials.  We will certainly miss seeing everyone this year.

Thank you, as ever, for your support of the civic league.  We hope you and your families remain safe and well.  Have a good Memorial Day – a time to remember and honor those who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.  This year may we also give thanks for those who currently serve our country, whether in the military services, first responders, law enforcement, health care, and all the other essential workers.
