A crowd of 50 – 60 people attended the October 8, 2018 meeting, including neighbors from nearby civic leagues and teachers from Suburban Park Elementary. Guest speaker Elaine Luria, candidate for the Second Congressional District in the November election, spoke about her priorities and answered questions. Thanks to everyone who brought the delicious slow-cooked dishes, cornbread, and desserts.

Winners of the Crockpot Cook-off were:  1^st place – Joan Wilson; 2^nd Place – Mark Burnett; 3^rd Place – Gabe Kinnison.
