Monday Evening March 10th Meeting

Monday evening March 10th is an EARNN (Environmental Awards for Recycling in Norfolk Neighborhoods) meeting.  We need at least 30 attendees to claim our EARNN points!

EARNNOur special guest speaker is Fleta Jackson, from the City of Norfolk’s Stormwater Division.  Doors open at 6 pm for refreshments; meeting starts at 6:30.

All year long the civic league members conduct recycling and sustainability projects–like our adopt-a-spot cleanups, participation in the Great American Clean-up, and featuring meeting speakers who address conservation and sustainability topics.  We earn points for these efforts–as well as the neighborhood’s recycling (blue bin) set out rate, and earn a cash rebate from the city that is used for neighborhood activities.

Please bring a family member, friend, or other guest to our meeting Monday night!  50/50 raffle, and door prizes (featuring a $25 Harris Teeter gift card).
