Interstate 64 Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Study (Corridor from I-664 in Hampton to I-564 in Norfolk)

A public hearing is being held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 4−7 p.m. at Granby High School, 7101 Granby Street

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) are conducting a study of the I-64 Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT) corridor from I-664 in Hampton to I-564 in Norfolk (approximately 11 miles) to develop alternative solutions addressing insufficient capacity and to correct roadway, bridge and tunnel deficiencies in the corridor.

A draft environmental impact statement on various alternatives was released on December 21.

The public hearing is an opportunity to provide input and comment on the study, and draft environmental impact statement.
