SUBURBAN ACRES is home to four (4) VA. INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS (VISAA) STATE TOURNAMENT teams and at least three (3) games this week!!!!

Congratulations to the Norfolk Christian and Norfolk Collegiate Varsity Boys and Girls basketball teams — all four teams are playing this week’s state tournament!!!!!!

Norfolk Christian’s Varsity Boys Basketball team captured the school’s 1st TCIS Basketball Championship since 1994 this past Saturday by defeating Norfolk Collegiate 49-40.

New Meeting Times

The Civic League Body voted last nearly unanimously in support of moving the Civic League meetings up to 6:30 pm.

With this, the social period that precedes the meeting will begin @ 6:00 pm.

This change will save the Civic League money each month, as we are charged additional fees for time in the school after 8:00 pm…which we often are.

Next Meeting:  February 9  @ 6:30pm

at Suburban Park Elementary

Come early (6:00 pm) for refreshments and socialization w/ your neighbors!
